Meet the “Jay” in Stellar Jay Creative

Jay Carlton is a versatile fine artist, illustrator, and storyteller with a passion for nurturing creativity in young minds. With a background in film and a deep love for visual storytelling, he blends his expertise in fine art, animation, and children's literature to create engaging and imaginative works that inspire and educate. After studying film, Jay developed a unique style that merges the worlds of illustration and animation, bringing characters and stories to life with vibrant color and intricate detail.

Jay has been providing individualized tutoring for over 10 years, helping students of all backgrounds reach their full potential. Specializing in all subject areas up to age 14, Jay is particularly committed to working with neurodivergent youth, offering a supportive, inclusive environment where every student can thrive. Jay customizes each experience to meet the unique needs of the student. Tutoring sessions are available in flexible packs of ten, scheduled to suit individual learning styles and schedules.

Stellar Jay Creative Camps specialize in hands-on stop-motion animation (using LEGO!) and movie-making, giving kids the opportunity to develop creative and technical skills in a fun, supportive environment. We provide all the tech and equipment they need to bring their unique ideas to life, from cameras and editing software to LEGO sets for building their stories.
